Grant Park
Grant Park is the largest historic district in the city. It is also the oldest, and fourth largest, city park in Atlanta. The neighborhood and park get their name from L.P. Grant, a civil engineer who is considered the “Father of Atlanta”. Restoration efforts beginning in the 1970’s led to Grant Park becoming a hot neighborhood for anyone looking to live in the city.
